She has worked in diverse healthcare settings including emergency departments, nephrology intensive care units, dialysis units, outpatient services, and operation theatres. Her experience includes managing trauma and critically ill patients, assisting in general, spinal, and regional anaesthesia, handling obstetric emergencies, supporting emergency Caesarean procedures, and providing postoperative monitoring and acute pain care.

During her tenure in the Nephrology Department at Government Medical College Kannur, Dr. Swetha gained valuable experience in haemodialysis management, renal emergencies, fluid and electrolyte balance, and intensive nephrology care. She also served as Consultant Medical Officer at ECHS Military Hospital, where she managed outpatient care for ex-service personnel and their families.
