Thodupuzha: In observance of World Environment Day, Baby Memorial Hospital organised a special Cleaning Drive under the theme “Heal the Earth, Heal Our Future”, reinforcing its commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable healthcare. The initiative focused on raising awareness against plastic pollution and promoting a cleaner, greener surrounding.

The cleaning drive was formally inaugurated by Ms. Jessy Antony, Municipal Chairperson, in the presence of the Ward Councillor, hospital representatives, and staff members. The event highlighted the collective responsibility of the community in addressing environmental challenges, especially ending plastic pollution.

Through this initiative, BMH aimed to inspire responsible waste management practices, reduce plastic usage, and encourage eco-friendly habits among the public and healthcare professionals alike.

The programme reflected Baby Memorial Hospital’s continued efforts to integrate environmental consciousness into community health initiatives, emphasising that a healthier planet is essential for a healthier future.
