Baby Memorial Hospital Kozhikode marked a significant milestone in elderly care with the soft launch of its Geriatric Rehabilitation Services along with the release of the Geriatric Care Booklet on 2nd December 2025. The event witnessed the presence of esteemed doctors, hospital leadership, and invited guests.

The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation hosted the event to strengthen comprehensive and holistic care for the elderly population. The programme commenced with a warm welcome address by Major Dr. Prageeth (Retd.), Specialist - Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation

Following this, the chief guest Brigadier P. T. Gangadharan (Retd.) officially inaugurated the Geriatric Rehabilitation Services and the Geriatric Care Booklet. The event also included leadership messages from Dr. Anant Mohan Pai (Chief Executive Officer - Kozhikode Cluster) and Dr. Ravindran C (Chief of Medical Services), underscoring Baby Memorial Hospital’s commitment to continuously enhancing patient-centric services.

An overview of the newly launched Geriatric Clinic and its services was presented by Dr. Muhlisa V , Consultant – Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, providing attendees with insights into the clinic’s focus areas, capabilities, and patient-centered rehabilitation programs.
