Complete Sports Injury Care Under One Roof: ‘Sports Arena’ Launched at Baby Memorial Hospital, Kannur

Baby Memorial Hospital (BMH), Kannur, has taken a major step forward in advanced sports medicine with the launch of “Sports Arena,” a comprehensive Sports Injury Management Center, at a recently held inaugural ceremony on the hospital campus.


The inauguration was graced by former Indian footballer Mr. C. K. Vineeth as the chief guest, underscoring the centre’s commitment to excellence in sports injury care and athlete performance. Mr. Yathish Chandra, IPS, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Kannur Range, attended as the guest of honour and formally inaugurated the Student Injury Specialist Programme, adding further significance to the occasion.

Addressing the gathering, North Cluster CEO Mr. Niroop Mundayadan highlighted the hospital’s vision, stating that the objective of Sports Arena is to deliver scientific, specialized, and evidence-based treatment for sports-related injuries.
