Overview

The Department of Neurology at Baby Memorial Hospital, Perumbavoor (Coming Soon), is being developed to provide comprehensive care for disorders affecting the brain, spine, nerves, and muscles. The department will focus on early diagnosis, medical treatment, and long-term management of neurological conditions through evidence-based care and advanced diagnostic support.

The department will offer specialised care for conditions including stroke, epilepsy, headaches, migraine, Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders, neuropathies, dementia, Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Management, seizures, and other neurological illnesses. Dedicated management services for epilepsy, headache and migraine disorders, Parkinson’s disease, movement disorders, and multiple sclerosis will support accurate diagnosis, symptom control, rehabilitation, and long-term follow-up care.

Supported by a multidisciplinary team of neurologists, rehabilitation specialists, physiotherapists, nurses, and support staff, the department will focus on personalised treatment, neurological recovery, and quality-of-life improvement. With an emphasis on timely intervention and continuous care, the department aims to bring advanced neurology services closer to the people of Perumbavoor and nearby regions
