The field of Otorhinolaryngology has advanced significantly, mirroring this growth through the integration of modern tools like Hopkin rod endoscopes, Lasers, and advanced image guidance systems. The Department of ENT at BMH Vatakara is fully equipped with these state-of-the-art technologies to provide comprehensive management for every clinical condition related to the Ear, Nose, Throat, and the Head and Neck region. Our department is a functional unit comprising Out-Patient bays, a dedicated Endoscopy Cluster, an Audiology Speech and Language Pathology unit, a Minor Operation Theatre, and a state-of-the-art ENT Exclusive Operation Theatre, ensuring precise, patient-focused care.

We offer specialized services including a Vertigo Clinic with Vestibular and Repositioning Maneuver exercises, as well as a dedicated Migraine and Headache Clinic. Our Audiology, Speech, and Language Pathology Unit provides a full range of services, including PTA, Impedance Audiometry, OAE testing, and comprehensive voice and speech therapy. Our functional Operation Theatre and Anaesthesia Department ensure timely surgeries for indicated disease conditions.

We offer a full spectrum of advanced surgical services, including Endoscopic Nose Surgeries (FESS, Endoscopic DCR), Microscopic Ear Surgeries (Tympanoplasty, Mastoidectomy), Microlaryngeal Surgeries, and complex Head and Neck Surgeries (Thyroid, Parotid). We provide dedicated Paediatric ENT Surgeries (Tonsillectomy, Adenoidectomy, Foreign body removal) and perform routine procedures like direct Laryngoscopy, Esophagoscopy, 
and various biopsy techniques. Planned day care surgeries are also available for selected conditions, minimizing hospital admission time.
