The team is trained to handle a wide range of critical situations, from trauma and cardiac emergencies to pediatric crises and toxic exposures. Equipped with modern technology, including point-of-care ultrasonography, a fully equipped resuscitation bay, and an Emergency Operation Theatre, the department ensures timely and effective interventions. Dedicated emergency physicians, nurses, and paramedics maintain continuous patient monitoring and support, delivering advanced cardiac life support, pediatric life support, trauma management, and critical care.

The department features 24 fully equipped beds with triage, observation, fast-track OPD, decontamination rooms, and a negative pressure isolation unit for infection control. Mobile ICUs, bike ambulances, and a 24/7 pre-hospital care service ensure rapid patient transport and immediate care. Specialised units for toxicology, snakebite management, and a Poison Information Centre further enhance emergency preparedness. By combining advanced infrastructure, trained personnel, and a patient-focused approach, the Emergency Medicine Department provides high-quality, reliable, and life-saving care around the clock.
