Dr Latha Mary is a Consultant ENT and Head & Neck Surgeon with over two decades ofextensive clinical and academic experience. She has held respected teaching positions in the Department of ENT and Head and Neck Surgery at Pariyaram Medical College, Kannur, where she has been actively involved in the training of undergraduate and postgraduate medical students. Her surgical proficiency covers a broad range of procedures in otology, rhinology, and head and neck surgery. In otology, she is skilled in performing middle ear surgeries including tympanoplasty, mastoidectomy, and stapedotomy. Her rhinological expertise includes both open and closed rhinoplasty, septal surgery, functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS), and endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR). She has significant experience in the surgical management of rhinocerebral mucormycosis and COVID-associated mucormycosis through precise debridement techniques.

Pediatric ENT surgeries form a core part of her practice, including adenoidectomy (conventional, endoscopic, and debrider-assisted) and tonsillectomy. In the domain of head and neck surgery, she routinely performs thyroidectomy, thyroplasty, submandibular sialadenectomy, branchial cyst excision, thyroglossal cyst excision, and cervical lymph node dissections. Her endoscopic capabilities include direct laryngoscopy, hypopharyngoscopy, microlaryngeal surgery, and esophagoscopy.
